An unexpected duo: Susie, the pug, and Tabitha, the piglet, have formed a strong bond and are now inseparable buddies.
Besties Forever: These two unexpectedly became pals just three weeks ago and now they are always together.
Wendy Valentine, the owner of Susie, saved little Tabitha when she found her abandoned on the roadside at only five weeks old, just a few hours after birth.
Susie’s guardian thinks that Tabitha the little pig might have run away from a nearby pig farm, or perhaps slipped through the gaps on a truck while her mother was giving birth en route to the slaughterhouse.
Tabitha received lots of love and care from five-year-old Susie, who played a big role in nursing the young piglet back to good health.
“Hey there, buddy!” Susie playfully taps her friend on the head with affection.
Rolling around and pretending to be lifeless, the two unexpected pals have a blast during their play sessions.
Wendy Valentine, the caretaker of Susie, operates the Hillside Animal Sanctuary located in Norwich, Norfolk. The sanctuary provides a safe space for Tabitha and her newfound companion to have fun and play to their hearts’ content.
